The Winds Howl, the Clouds Surge: Prequel to the 2.4 Version Update of Crescendo
The night is as deep as water, the moonlight as frosty as snow, and the winds from the Jianghu have brought some heavy news.
Rumors say that in the next version, two new characters will make their debut. One comes from the land of wind, the other from the realm of fire. Their names are Kathisia and Rupa.
Kathisia, a name that resembles a flower swaying in the wind, light, elegant, yet full of hidden dangers. She is a Resonancer of the wind element and wields a swift blade as her weapon. In battle, she can switch between two forms: Kathisia and Fleurdelis.
In Kathisia’s form, her basic attacks, heavy strikes, and resonance skills will summon different sword shadows. These sword shadows dance like sprites in the wind, ready to strike at any moment. When she uses her plunge attack, the sword shadows return to her side, dealing stronger damage based on the number and type of shadows recalled.
When her resonance energy is full, she transforms into Fleurdelis. In this form, her attacks generate conviction. When conviction reaches 120 points, she can unleash her ultimate skill: Roar of the Wind Blade. This strike is enough to leave enemies trembling.
Kathisia’s exclusive weapon will also make its debut in this version, though its name remains unknown. Its power, however, is sure to be extraordinary.
Rupa, a name that sounds like a burning flame, passionate, fierce, and unstoppable. She is a Resonancer of both magma and long blades, using the long blade as her weapon. In magma teams, she excels as a support role while also dealing significant damage.
Her resonance release provides the party with Pursuit and Glory effects. Pursuit increases allies’ damage, while Glory allows the party to ignore the enemy’s magma resistance. Her encore skill grants the next Resonancer a boost in magma damage and basic attack damage.
In terms of self-output, Rupa generates Wolf Flames through her attacks. When Wolf Flames reach 50 points, her heavy attacks and stage 3 aerial attacks will consume Wolf Flames to restore Wolf Souls. When Wolf Souls are full, her resonance skill is enhanced.
The gacha pool in this version will be divided into two parts.
The upper half of the gacha pool includes characters Kathisia, Akashi, Baiji, and Ruri. The weapon pool features the new weapon “Unyielding Crown of Destiny,” a 5-star swift blade.
The lower half of the gacha pool includes Rupa, Sana, Togi, and Shia. The weapon pool features the new weapon “Flame Scar,” a 5-star long blade.
In addition to the new characters, this version also includes other updates. Simply logging into the game will reward you with 10 Golden Ripples, a benefit no Drifter should miss.
A new area called “Seven Hills” will be opened in this version. It is a mysterious and dangerous land of mist. Brave Drifters, are you ready to explore this unknown territory?
Two new voice line sets will also debut in this version: “Flames of the Running Wolf” and “Journey of Wearing Glory.” The effects of these sets are sure to make your characters even stronger.
Finally, Changyi and Coletha will receive new swimsuit skins in this version. While the prices and acquisition methods have not been announced yet, the swimsuit skins for these two characters are sure to dazzle.
The 2.4 version of Crescendo is coming soon. Are you ready to meet these two new characters and face the new challenges? May you shine in this Jianghu.
