Genshin Impact 3.2 Update New Characters Nahida and Layla, Replication System, and Story Quests

〓The 3.2 Update for Genshin Impact〓

IT Home, November 2 — The new version officially goes live today. This update introduces brand new characters Nahida and Layla, as well as the new “Replication” system, the “A Thousand Floating Dreams” equipment, and new story quests and enemies. Nahida is a Dendro character with the skills “All Schemes to Know” and “Illusory Heart,” able to deal Dendro damage to enemies within the “Shrine of Maya” domain. Layla is a Cryo character with the skills “Nights of Formal Focus” and “Dream of the Star-Stream Shaker.”

The new “Replication” system allows Travelers to record and share Serenitea Pot furnishings. Additionally, a new feature in the Serenitea Pot enables sharing these Replications with friends. The “A Thousand Floating Dreams” catalyst will also have an increased drop rate in the event wish.

For story content, there’s a new Archon Quest titled “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises,” and Nahida’s Story Quest “Sapientia Oromasdis Chapter: Act I — Lingering Warmth.” The new enemy, “Dendro Hypostasis,” uses an inert shell for protection and releases energy blocks for a new type of Void Terminal.

New Characters

“Physic of Purity ? Nahida (Dendro)” (★5)
◇ Vision: Dendro
◇ Weapon: Catalyst
◇ A caged bird dwelling deep within the Sanctuary of Surasthana, able to observe the world only through dreams.
◆ Elemental Skill: “All Schemes to Know”
◇ Tap: Commands karmic vines to deal AoE Dendro damage and mark hit enemies with the Seed of Skandha.
◇ Hold: Enters aiming mode to select a certain number of enemies within a fixed area. At the end of aiming, deals Dendro damage and marks them with the Seed of Skandha. Enemies marked this way will be linked within a certain distance. Triggering Elemental Reactions on them, or them taking damage from Dendro Cores (including Burgeon or Hyperbloom), causes Nahida to unleash Tri-Karma Purification based on her ATK and Elemental Mastery, dealing Dendro damage to them and all linked enemies.
◆ Elemental Burst: “Illusory Heart”
◇ Manifests the Court of Dreams, creating the Shrine of Maya. When the field is deployed, depending on the elemental types of characters in the party, the following effects occur:

Pyro: Increases Tri-Karma Purification damage from “All Schemes to Know.”

Electro: Decreases the interval between Tri-Karma Purification triggers.

Hydro: Extends the duration of the Shrine of Maya.
If at least two characters of these elemental types are present, the effects are further enhanced. Nahida can provide these bonuses even when off-field, as long as the team is within the Shrine of Maya.

“Fantastical Evening Star ? Layla (Cryo)” (★4)
◇ Vision: Cryo
◇ Weapon: Sword
◇ A Rtawahist student specializing in theoretical astrology. Frequently sleepwalks and suffers from chronic sleep deprivation.
◆ Elemental Skill: “Nights of Formal Focus”
◇ Creates the Curtain of Slumber shield and deals AoE Cryo damage. The shield’s damage absorption scales with Layla’s Max HP and has 250% increased effectiveness against Cryo damage. While the shield is active, it generates 1 Night Star every 1.5 seconds. Additionally, when characters under the shield use Elemental Skills, 2 Night Stars are generated (this can happen once every 0.3 seconds). A maximum of 4 Night Stars can exist at once.
◇ When 4 Night Stars are present and enemies are nearby, they will transform into Shooting Stars that home in on targets, dealing Cryo damage. If the shield expires or is destroyed, any unconverted Night Stars will also disappear.
